If your not reading X-Sanction it’s basically the fore-runner to AVX and features Cable trying to disable the Avengers before they pose a huge threat to mutant kind in the future. Here he takes on Rulk and needless to say, this series is shares the usual theme of Jeph Loeb reveling in having his hero outwit and beat everyone, but at least it’s got some nice art. I’d be pushed to say anything else overly nice about it, other than that it’s a passable story and Ed McGuinness is given some lovely visuals to play with. Beyond that you’d be pushing me.
